This recipe was one my mom found when us kids were all still at home. It was our favorite then and now is my family’s favorite too!
Spaghetti Sauce
2 lbs. ground beef
2 onions chopped
7 1/2 oz. tomato sauce
10 oz tomator soup, undiluted
13 oz tomato paste
28 oz tomatoes
3 cups water
3 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon tabasco sauce
3 teaspoons salt
1 1/2 teaspoons oregano
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1 teaspoon basil
1 teaspoon celery seed
1/2 teaspoon pepper
Saute meat and onion until all redness disappears from meat and onions are soft. Add remaining ingredients and combine thoroughly. Simmer uncovered 2 1/2 to 3 hours, stirring often. Serve over your choice of pasta.
